Roger Dubuis Watches

In 1995, Roger Dubuis was founded by Carlos Dias and Roger Dubuis. Carlos Dias had originally decided to find the company under the name SOGEM, otherwise known as Société Genevoise de Montres. The following year in April, the first collections were created and presented. Two of these were the “Hommage” collections and the “Sympathie” collections. The first advertising campaign was launched in 1997, and soon enough, Roger Dubuis expanded into the Asian continent as well. The “MuchMore” collection was introduced in 1998, but launched the following year in 1999. Two watches, the RD28, and the RD98 were introduced as well. Roger Dubuis expanded once again into the North American continent, and its name changed to Manufacture Roger Dubuis S.A. In the year 2000, a new “TooMuch” collection began, and the company established itself in the Middle East and once again expanded even wider. In 2002, the “GoldenSquare” collection was presented, and the company’s new name was inaugurated. The brand’s first boutique opened in Geneva the same year. In 2003, the “FollowMe” collection was launched, and the Geneva boutique was inaugurated. The next year in 2004, the Jewelry Collection was launched in Geneva, and new boutiques were opened up in several locations in Asia, including Jakarta, Singapore, Hong Kong, Bangkok, and Kuala Lumpur. In 2005, the “Excallibur’ collection was launched. The Roger Dubuis collections include Hommage, Sympathie, MuchMore, TooMuch, GoldenSquare, FollowMe, and Excallibur. The Roger Dubuis collections include watches made out of different shapes; while some watches have the typical round or circular cases, there are unique ones made in the shape of crosses, ovals, etc.
