Philippe Charriol Watches

1983 marked the beginning of a new watch making brand, also known as Philippe Charriol, founded by Philippe himself. In 1989 came the St-Tropez line of watches, and in the following year, the first boutiques were opened in locations such as Hong Kong and Singapore. Two years later, in 1992, ten more boutiques were opened in Asia, the Middle East, and the United States as well. In 1993, a wide array of products were introduced, such as eyewear, bags, pens, and gold watches, which were added to the CELTIC line. In 1995, a boutique was opened in the infamous watch making center of Geneva. This same year, the “Le Tourbillon” was introduced in 18K gold, along with the Venturi Automatic Chronograph. In 1996, a boutique was opened in China, marking the first one in the country, and the Supersports Automatic Chronograph was introduced. In 2000, the Megeve collection is launched in Geneva, as well as a square Celtic watch. This same year, the company goes through immense change and transformation, as a new name, new lettering, new product collections, and many more changes are introduced. In 2001, pink and yellow gold watches are introduced in the Megeve collection, and the Lady Jet Set is introduced as well. In the 2002 spring collection, colorful dials, croco bracelets, diamonds, and sapphires are introduced. In 2003, the Actor watch collection was launched, and five new boutiques were opened. Among the Philippe Charriol collections are: The Actor Collections, The Azur Collections, The Celtic Collections, The Chronographs Collections, The Colvmbvs Collections, The Megeve Collections, and the St-Tropez Collections.
